Clifton and Crescent Hill Area Plan
The Neighborhood Plan is in its final stage of development. After a month-long public comment period at the end of Summer 2023, an updated draft of the Clifton & Crescent Hill Area Plan is available for review online at https://louisvilleky.gov/government/advanced-planning/clifton-crescent-hill-area-plan. The Area Plan will begin the adoption process on Monday, October 23rd, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., with a meeting of the Planning Committee of the Planning Commission! A link to attend the virtual meeting is also available at the website above. The adoption process can take up to 3 months because the Area Plan will be heard and voted upon at a series of different meetings: Planning Committee of the Planning Commission (10/23/23), Planning Commission (11/16/23) , Metro Council Planning & Zoning Committee (12/05/23), and full Metro Council (12/14/23).
The Clifton-Crescent Hill Area Plan is a community-guided process that develops strategies to make short and long-term improvements for the Clifton and Crescent Hill community. Strategies focus on ideas related to land use, transportation, housing, and quality of life.
